Council Members Push Back | "Seriously flawed process"

The Land, Use, Transportation and Infrastructure (LUTI) Committee met on September 1, 2020 with Community Planning and Development Senior Planner, Andrew Webb.
The briefing revealed Council's objections to the Group Living Zoning Code Amendment that included:
lack of authentic public engagement
no cap on number of people in a household
areas of Denver that are exempt
overcrowding concerns
pitting neighbors against each other
lack of objective facts
providers of services driving the process
creating inequity in neighborhoods
accelerator of displacement
